My plans of working on my memoir are slowly falling into place. One by one I have been getting records and have found many old journals and letters. My mother told me the above quote and said to sit down and write a shitty first draft. Just write something shitty to get it down. I did, and it was most definitely shitty. I am very proud however to say that it is a beginning…and everybody needs a beginning.
